SAKE-Tour 1st Anniversary

On October 18th, the SAKE-tour.jp which our Ecology Invest Inc. operates will celebrate the first anniversary of the start of its service. More than 10,000 people have visited the SAKE-tour.jp website from not only Niigata prefecture but gradually from other prefectures and overseas.
Our first year has passed quickly, while we received a request for tour planning from a public administrative office in addition to those from people in general. I appreciate great cooperation from Shuzo (Sake brewing) companies who continue to strive to produce Japanese sake beloved by all with repeating trial-and-errors in Niigata prefecture.

As requested by some Shuzo companies, we have prepared to offer the SAKE-tour.jp website in English in addition to that in Chinese. The timing seems to be the best for us to convey the information widely to the world when Niigata prefecture increasingly receives overseas visitors and Japanese sake attracts people worldwide.

Moreover, to commemorate the first anniversary, we will hold a collaborative event in cooperation with a Niigata local sake limited shop, SAKE NO SHINCHAYA, which has a long history since Edo period and boasts one of the best views in Japan. It is located near Yoneyama Ohashi (Yoneyama Big Bridge) along the old Kitaguni Kaido (Highway) in Kashiwazaki in Niigata Prefecture.

In the ‘Kashiwazaki Sake no Furusato Koen (Kashiwazaki Salmon Home Park)’ located below the Yoneyama Ohashi very close to SAKE NO SHINCHAYA, ‘Sake Horyo Matsuri (Big Catch of Salmon Festival)’ is held in November to celebrate salmon’s return to Tone River. SAKE NO SHINCHAYA will also hold an event related to Japanese sake and sake(salmon), ‘Local Sake(alcohol) & Local Sake (Salmon) Big Catch Festival’. We look forward to welcoming you to the festival.
As a souvenir to commemorate the first anniversary, we will present a bottle of ‘HAKKAIZAN Seishu 180ml’ to those who come to SAKE NO SHINCHAYA with a pamphlet printed out from the following website. We would thank your understanding that the number of souvenirs is limited.
